The deadline for submitting session proposals is now Friday, September 6, 2024 at 5pm CST. Call for Nominations: MAC Presidents' Award and Distinguished Service AwardDo you know of an individual, institution, or organization not directly involved in archival work but aware of its purpose and value? This is your opportunity to recognize them by nominating them for the MAC Presidents' Award. Recipients are chosen by a committee comprising the three most recent past presidents of MAC and two at-large members. The MAC Distinguished Award recognizes individuals who have made remarkable contributions to MAC or to the archival profession during their archival career. Significant contributions may include, but are not limited to, extensive or superior volunteer work in an elected or appointed role within MAC; unusually important innovation, leadership, or crisis management; and notable success in expanding the visibility and/or support of MAC.
